Having lived in the mountains nearly all my life, I love homes with lots of windows since they let me enjoy the view all around. But even with my liking for view, I found this Living Room House a bit too much to take. Created by German designer Seifert Stoeckmann, the house is located in the historic district Gelnhausen in Germany and features a powder-coated-aluminum skin and a whopping 52 windows!

And if you thought all that natural light and ventilation had to be enough for the owners, you’d be surprised to know that the bedroom hangs in a sliding drawer that can be opened over the street for alfresco sleeping. That’s fantastic and shall we say this is exactly what we could have hoped for in a house that claims to respond to the exterior environment in a way that’s analogous to breathing!
