If you thought sand is just meant to be used in construction, think again ! A hotel in Weymouth Beach, Dorset,England, was erected with 1000 tonnes of sand , helping hands of four sculptors and a 14 hours of gruelling task for seven days.And if you are ready to shell out $10 a night you could get into star gazing along with your lass at the double bedroom that is on offer.The brain behind this amazing gift to the beach lovers was a hotel company who didnt seem to give it a miss mainly because research by laterooms.com predict a 37 million people’s visit to British beaches.A word of caution for those who cannot do away without a toilet , for, there is no toilet at all !It was best described by Mark Anderson, creator of the sand hotel, “But the best thing is in the morning the tide laps through the door, what a great way to wake up.” Check out the video after the jump.
