Before you get too excited with the headline of this story, let me tell you that the invention Iâm telling you about does not work with fish tanks and small aquariums! It does, however, work quite well if you have a large pond full of fish. Named the FIFER, this robotic fish feeder created by designer Ran Xiangfei is basically a floating planter module that calculates the density of the fish population in the water, and dispenses the right amount of fish food accordingly.
The clever feeder also sends out sound waves that work as a lunch bell for the fish.
The plant on top of the feeder also makes itself useful by symbiotically growing to represent the health of your fish so you don’t have to worry about them dying of obesity or something either.
