Blobwall Pavilion set to replace bricks in construction

Created by Architect Greg Lynn, the Blobwall Pavilion is a modern-day marvel that aims at revolutionizing building design forever. By using a lightweight recyclable plastic instead of the more traditional building materials like bricks, mortal, stone and concrete, the pavilion’s tri-cornered unit advocates its feasibility since it can easily be mass produced and robotically cut through a process known as rotational molding. The resulting structure, the Blobwall Pavilion, was created entirely out of the experimental materiel and was even put up for display at the Sci-Arc Gallery in Los Angeles. And though I know very well that I’m supposed to take this innovation seriously, there is something about this design that just makes me wanna jump up and down on top of it!
