World’s smallest fire extinguisher

They say the best things come in small packages. And joining the league is this tiny fire extinguisher. Belgian designer Erik Crommelynck came up with the Pinqy-as it is called-which stands at just 14 cm high and weighs 1kg. The structure of the Pinqy looks like a cross between a hand grenade and a soda siphon and claims to be powerful enough to put out small domestic fires. And with a special valve that protects it from exploding at high temperatures, the Pinqy is a really worthwhile investment. The designer extinguisher, which won a gold medal at the British Innovation Show last year, is very attractive and fits on a living room or kitchen shelf unlike the bulky and ugly-looking traditional fire extinguishers. But the best feature if the Pinqy is that it weighs a meager 1kg which means even children and disabled people can easily use it apart from the elder folks.
