The name is Willard Wigan and he hails from the United Kingdom and now the world knows that he is extremely talented. âShrinkingâ Americaâs First Family is not an easy job, even if you do not go by the literal meaning of the word. The scale size family is so minuscule that it would require a microscope to see it, which makes it clear that Wigan required immense concentration to make the tiny sculpture. He had to enter a meditative state to bring down his heart beat that allowed him to reduce hand tremors and sculpt between pulse beats. Even the traffic was a hindrance so he usually sculpted at night. It took him three months to complete the scale model.
