As a child I used to love collecting wrappers of chocolate bars. I hid them in my books to make them smell tasty! Of course those often attracted ants and occasionally even a mouse or two, but my fascination for attractive packaging was never dented by the fear of pests. And if you too love you fav brands, then youâll be really interested to know that recycling giants TerraCycle are now planning on taking packaging waste and âupcyclingâ it into new products. With household items like shower curtains, umbrellas, lunch boxes, and backpacks already on their upcycled products list, the company also accepts contributions from citizens who can sign up on the companyâs site and have their recyclables made into more funky stuff.
