San Francisco made of toothpicks: A great work of art

A bit of art, combined with a dash of skill, some persistence and loads of time is what Scott Weaver, the supermarket produce man needed to build the kinetic sculpture of San Francisco with 100,000 toothpicks. Weaver completed this great work of art when he was recuperating from an injury, along with some residents of Bay, and it took them about 3000 hours, that is 125 days of sticking and pasting to finish the sculpture. What is even more interesting is that Weaver had started to work on the sculpture when he was just 14 years of age! The model is an example of finesse and excellent design. It’s a complete tour of San Francisco as you can even see the individual landmarks of the place in it.
