The world seems to take the ‘green’ movement seriously. Now, we can have some green shoes to show off, how much environment safety matters to us. These cool shoes have been made by a Japanese company called MoonStar.
Japan, which has been trying really hard to exhibit its array of green products, has added a new feather to hits hat. Working towards fighting global warming and reducing emission of CO2, MoonStar has developed what can be called the world’s first biomass shoes, named as Biomass Hadashikko. To be worn indoors only, these shoes are made up of polylactic acid resin, a soft biomass material that not only gives you a hygienic feeling but also help solve the issues of global warming. As there is no fossil fuel used in these shoes, they reduce emission of green house gases.
Passing through a stringent silver ion process, these extra light shoes keep your feet comfortable and help you fight against fungal and bacterial problems. Giving enough freedom to your feet for relaxation while walking inside, the shoes have a unique feeling of walking without any stress felt in the feet.
Priced at around $28, or JPY 3045, you can buy a pair of these shoes, if you are on a shopping spree in Japan’s major outlets. You can get them all soft and cozy looking colors and shades like pink, pale blue, white, white & pink and white & mint.
