Flickr binds two hearts sitting miles apart

Love heeds no barriers and restrictions can’t bind it; whether its 4,000 miles barrier, lovers find ways to bridge the gap. Rosie Hardy, a British student and American photography expert Aaron Nace have defied the distance hurdle and created a series of touching portraits that bring them together.

Their tale of love is very interesting. Rosie and Aaron first time met through Flickr, while participating in Flickr’s 365 Days project. Their first meeting was incidental as Aaron mirrored Rosie’s pic and sent her a message. Rosie liked his creativity and then the tale started growing and took month to cement. Aaron uses Photoshop to add extra edge to their relationship and develops the images creatively. They make series of portraits by clubbing themselves together and try to overcome the physical distance between them.

Rosie Hardy also feels glad and said:

Our images make the distance between us easier to bear. We’re creating our own world in which we can be together. It’s often the closest we can get to each other. It’s a way to doing something as a couple and expressing our love. ‘When I look at the images I can almost feel his skin against mine and feel his breath. And the process of making them has really helped us bond. Creatively, we are the same. We have the same ideas. We know what the other is thinking. We’re a team.
