For the past 33 years, a veteran from Vietnam was carrying this huge burden in his wallet/heart, the picture of the person he had shot during the war. Though, he was tired of the bloodshed and never wanted to visit Vietnam, humanity somehow played heavier on him and he decided to hand over the picture to the daughter of the killed.
The picture featured her too, but young. He went across to tell her that he was the one who killed her father, she broke down on seeing the picture and so did the veteran GI, whoâd been cooled into kindness by the squeezing grip of life.
