Non-recyclable waste, which indeed is a matter of worry to the environmentalists, is emerging as a new trend on the fashion ramp. The recent fashion show in Medellin, Colombia is a witness to how ecofriends are improvising and going as far as they can to put the waste where it actually belongs.

The discarded Ethernet cable fashion costumes turned out to be the showstopper. Students from the Pontificia Bolivariana University in Medellin designed the unique outfit. Perhaps the students wanted to pitch the idea of having apparels filled with data so that it can be accessed anytime, anywhere; this is the only sane explanation I can offer at this moment. The outfit, which literally bombed everybody’s imagination looked like something straight out of a sci-fi flick.
