Designer watches from Pierre Junod

A watch signifies class, elegance, style and quite simply put, gives away the kind of person you are. Well, maybe not always but they signify mood at times and at times they signify the fact that I’m late to work… actually it seems somehow my watch always tells me I’m late to work. With the fashion industry spreading across the planet each day sees the arrival of a new model of watch or a new gadget incorporated in it.

While I like the traditional watches more, it is simplicity that somehow matters the most to me. It seems that with time, they are getting more and more complex. I somehow never liked my watch showing me too much at the same time. It must be sold, elegant, simple and must be clear enough to know the time at any required point. Maybe plenty would disagree with that, but then to each his own.

Pierre Junod has launched a series of such simple wrist watches that are sure to attract some takers. The watches have been designed by architect Mario Botta and designer Andre Ricard. The watches are pretty cool, but nothing to rave about really

The watch above is from the architect, Mario Botta and it looks the better than the other one. It has nice grey backdrop which is really nice. It is not always that I wear anything beyond black so the grey is a good option.

This is by Andre Ricard and I really don’t think that much needs to be said about it except the fact that I do not really like it. It looks a touch wacky and basically not very impressive.
