For a land that in the modern world is better known for its complex fads and obsession with animated mascots, Japan has also given the world many great things of value too. Like cool electronics and hot cars. But they have also given us a way to reconnect to nature via the simple routine of taking a bath in a hot spring-fed tub. And since most of us cannot afford to ask our bosses to raise our pay packets enough for us to travel to Japan to experience first hand what relaxing in real Rotenburo (outdoor bath) at a real Onsen or Ryokan (Japanese style hotel) in a real Japanese city feels like, we thought we’d bring you this small Japanese style portable bath from Auvelcraft to use at home or to take camping with you. The boiler for heating the bath water weighs 22kgs and burns wood or charcoal and the bath itself measures in at just 68cm tall, 86cm in diameter and weighing in at 55kg.
For roughly $945 plus shipping, having your own personal Japanese outdoor spa isn’t bad and when you consider how much you can make by charging your neighbors for using it, the deal becomes even sweeter!
