Cool factor: Wooden spoon chair
Artist: Jonas Lyndby Jensen
My take: Changing aesthetics in designing has widened the bridge between traditional and modern designs. This is mainly because of synchronization (a career by choice, not by chance) which takes out the creativity in you. The wooden spoon chair (feature above) by Jonas Lyndby Jensen is one example; the design is made from soap treated ash wood and features a seat cushion of woven horsehair with a textile by Jacob Bille that is also used on top of the spoons.
