Furniture based on pandas are not too new in the furniture world and now the Brazilian artist duo, Fernando and Humberto Campana have come together to create a outrageous buttwarmer called the Banquete chair. At first glance the Banquete chair doesn’t look like a chair at all, rather it looks like a mishmash of fluffy black and white. Yes, the artist duo have gathered a big bunch of pandas and have put/glued the pandas together to form a chair-like structure which sits on spindly nail-like legs. To be brutally frank, we don’t think that the chair can support the weight of a fully grown adult simply because its legs look too spindly and we can’t imagine the stuffed pandas bearing some serious weights. And for this, you are expected to pay a whopping $75000. Phew! As an afterthought, we believe that you could get yourself a few stuffed pandas and glue/sew them together and make this chair at a fraction of the Banquete chair’s cost.
