Conventionally, these instruments have been operating on the principles of oscillation, centrifuge, frictional drag or at the most, hydraulics. The major disadvantage of these instruments is that they perform mechanized motions in predefined patterns – something sort of ‘getting used to’, thus losing their ‘fear factor’ after some time! With robotic arms, these instruments could be twisted, turned and whirled at several joints in unpredictable patterns, thus making the chill run down the spine of the onlooker and the rider every new time.
