India is one of the fastest developing nations, home to over a billion people, but only God knows how it works. It is a country were the rich are becoming richer, and the poor are getting poorer. Who is to blame? Thankfully, a citizen, a rich man named Ratan Tata, after launching the worldâs cheapest car (Nano), want to give Mumbai cheaper homes now (Nano Homes).
The first complex of 1,000 homes is under construction in a town called Boisar, 60 miles from Mumbai. It will include a hospital, school, playground and gardens. He plans to sell these apartments for $7,800 to $13,400 each, aimed at workers making $6,000 to $10,000 per annum.
