Kyle Lawson has succeeded in winning the Gizmodo Eureka Contest for her Translayferers and we heartily congratulate her for that. But, her victory isnât the sole reason that pushed us to mention her name here. Her innovation, the Translayferers is something that has to be mass-produced for the good of many who travel places all around the year. Language is the only barrier that halts an individual from interacting and even if one does, comprehension becomes the problem. This isnât any kind of a complex but rather a routine with every individual that travels to an âalienâ land. Imagine how easy that travel would become if everything you come across is translated in your preferred language. Surprising yes, but that is what the Translayferers do and all that is achieved on the touch of a button. It is a simple three way process-Scan-Translate-Replace Text. Honestly, a mere iPhone isnât a big enough reward for such dexterous thinking.
