Michael Young PXR-6 Gold, back and better than before!

968b03ec36 LbY5b 17417Michael Young fans can rejoice as the PXR-6 watch is back, and with a host of remodeled benefits. The gorgeous gold metal and Velcro digital display watch had been out of stock since August 2007 and is now back on the shelves.

The watch seems to have gone through a complete internal overhaul; however, the outer design seems mostly unchanged. Being a Michael Young design, it was already pretty perfect! The new version is completely waterproof and the previous kinks in the buttons and the night light have been repaired. The new PXR-6 Gold keeps up with Michael’s design sensibility of clean, classic and simple designs with a minimalist touch. The watch functions keep up with design theme of simplicity. The watch has a digital display and a light button with emits a blue light in low light situations. Like the rest of the PXR range, this watch too has an adjustable Velcro bracelet, which is an inch in width. What adds a touch of opulence to this classic piece is the gold accents on the digital dial, the gold and black combination makes the PXR-6 a timeless objet d’art.

The PXR-6 is, however, available in Steel and Ultranoir versions with a host of choices in bracelet colors, such as slate grey, highland green, charcoal black, midnight blue, sand, chocolate, hot pink, ivory and snow white. Although, it is definitely the Gold version that Michael Young fans are will be vying for. Micheal Young is fast becoming one of those most influential designers, and his work speaks for himself. His designs can be seen at the Design Museum in London and he is also assoscited with brands like Lacoste and Mandarina Duck among others.

He is predicted to be a designer to reckon with in the near future, hence, now would be the best time to invest in a work of art by the talented designer. The PXR-6 Gold is he right choice for any design enthusiast, the only deterrent would be the now escalated price of $150. Unfortunately the PXR-6 does not come in a ladies version.
