A super-deformed collectible of Darth Vader is being produced by the Japanese toymaker Medicom Toy. The figure in vinyl is hilarious and a must for all the Star Trek crazy guys out there.
Standing in at 44 cm tall, Darth Vader VCD is present in his entire splendor but only in diminutive deformed representation. The helmet is removable and if withdrawn will show what really is inside the evil-head.
Scheduled for a launch in February of 2008, it will be a collector’s edition item, with only a 1,000 pieces being manufactured. The detailing from the pics released looks to be on the money and there’s the trademark saber light that accompanies the doll. The sale price is set at a manageable 26,040 Yen. Unfortunately, the advanced reservation on blister is closed. Be quick when it is launched in Feb next year. May the force be with you!
