Garmin company has finally launched the much awaited watch – the Forerunner 405. The first ever GPS-laden watch that Garmin had introduced in the market was the Forerunner 305, which permitted people to record their speed, but could not be comfortably worn for every occasion. Then Garmin came up with the Forerunner 50, which even though resembled the structure of an ideal watch, did not have the modern GPS service.
Finally now, there is good news for people with a fetish for designer watches. The new Forerunner 405 from Garmin has an in-built satellite receiver and its size is almost akin to that of the Forerunner 50. This fashionable watch has all the up-to-date attributes such as scrutinizing and recording pace, distance, rate of heart beat and location.
The special additional feature of the watch is that there is a button which can monitor different functions and is receptive to human contact. It is also equipped with the ANT+Sport wireless technology mode, similar to that of the Forerunner 50. The starting price of the Forerunner 405 is announced to be at $299 and will be available in 2 colors-black and green.
