The Japanese evil feline seems to be getting mightier and stronger just like the genie in the lamp of Aladdin. In fact, Aladdin’s genie was a far more humble and obedient species; it remained confined to the fairy tales of the Arabian Nights! Hello Kitty is a marketing gimmick, popping up anywhere and everywhere from clothes to tattoos, and now it’s growing to the size of home appliances!
Disgustingly, Sanrio is planning to launch a Hello Kitty washing machine. ‘Why to have such monstrous thing in my home?‘ would be an obvious question to be popped in your minds as it was with me. I can only say that this question has been remained unanswered right from the day one – when we witnessed the very first sample of those useless bunch of Hello Kitty merchandise.
The list is going to keep growing as long as it lures the devout Hello Kitty freaks to fall prey to the Japanese marketing technique. Bear it till then, what else can I say?
