Hans Ruedi Giger, the dude who created Oscar-winning special effects for the movie âAliensâ, has always been rather smitten with organic Art Nouveau shapes, a fascination which resulted into the creation of the Skeleton Bar in Switzerland. As the name suggests, the bar itself seems like you have just innocently walked into a giant skeleton itself, which of course is rather disconcerting which, in turn results in customers ordering more âliquid courageâ to show their friends that they arenât scared of the creepy interiors, which of course is very good for business. So basically the whole thing thrives off of the unexplainable male instincts of creating and admiring the most disgusting and repulsive sights known to man and the one which makes them do all kinds of stupid stuff just because their friends dared them to do it!
