Well, Gucci has set the ball rolling with their 8-8-2008 Limited Edition Collection (the Beijing event starts 8-8-2008). Featuring a panda doll, a Mahjong set, a pair of Gucci-emblem sneakers, commemorative digital watch and a bike, the collection is unmistakably dripping in ‘China’ red.
No doubt, the Chinese will be floored by this collection and despite an official launch on January 28, the merchandise is already high on the collectors’ wish-list.
