All of us agree that gambling, in all forms, should be discouraged. In fact, we would certainly try our best to prevent any of our loved ones to fall a prey to the fatal charms of excessive gambling. This fact was substantiated by a Chinese housewife, and how!
Lai Yingying, from Xiamen City, China,was a huge gambling addict and used to go over to his friendâs home to play poker. This was until Laiâs wife got fed up of the excessive gambling habits of her husband, and decided to do something to prevent him from going to his gambler friendâs place altogether.
How did she accomplish this seemingly impossible task? Well, she designed 40-stone metal boots for his husband, so that it would be impossible for him to freely move about, let alone going to play poker!
According to Lai himself, the shoes take half an hour to put on and have really killed off his desire to go for gambling, or,for that matter, anywhere in the evenings. His wife must be having an inward chuckle–she certainly has successfully cured the gambling habits of her husband.
