‘The Future of Books’ by Kyle Bean

printed vs digital book 2263
If you are a passionate reader of books, you will definitely agree when I say that there is more to reading books than just gathering information. Of course, an e-book can give you information, but can you really engross yourself in a romantic novel, by sitting in front of your computer or laptop? The works of the best authors of this world are vividly described in printed form. The e-books cannot match the printed books in the depth of information provided and the experience they give to the reader. However, British designer Kyle Bean has given an interesting twist to this debate. ‘The Future of Books’ (illustrated on the right side of the pic) materialized out of an old charity-shop book. It gives us a brief idea about the future of books. A Notebook PC embracing it’s literal ancestors! Does it spell the end of printed books and paperbacks? Only time will tell.
