I have heard a lot of people going ga-ga over the fabulous fictional super nannies like Mary Poppins and Nanny McPhee. But for me, the star of such fantasy stories has always been the supernatural umbrellas. And Iâll even bet you my neighborâs annoying cat if you can tell me this WiFi camera does not look like a distant cousin of the ones owned by those super matrons! I mean just check out what this Pileus umbrella does- it takes pics with a built-in camera, uploads it to Flickr or any other photo-sharing site via wireless internet connection, and then lets you view these pics on the inside surface of your umbrella itself. And all this in less than two minutes that too with minimum physical effort from your side. Does that not seem like something that could aid the face recognition skills of a super-nanny? I rest my case.
P.S. This Pileus umbrella also has a digital compass and GPS with Google Earth-aided navigation in it, and word is they are working on fixing a video camera and recorder in this thing soon.
