Ceramic For Mix requires no stirring, dooms spoons!

I’m a great sloth, a fact that my sis would eagerly corroborate. So anything that contributes to ease (my sis would call that laziness) finds an immediate consonance with me. So when I heard the news about a self-stirring cup, I immediately jumped. Ceramic For Mix has been created by two Frenchmen and was recently unveiled at the London Design Festival. It incorporates a ceramic ball within, which does all the stirring and eliminates an unnecessary trouble for our stirring hand.

The base of Ceramic For Mix is slightly protruding and the ball is dipped when one is done putting in his drink, sugar and milk. The user is just required to swivel the contents, much like a glass of cognac and the ceramic ball then takes over, going round and round until the contents get mixed up. And does one need take out the ceramic ball while drinking? No sir, as Designer Florian Dussopt, 23, explains,

When you drink, the ball is blocked by the gravity in the recess of the glass.

He also hopes that the special cup would soon become rage across bars and restaurants. That might jeopardize the future of some spoon manufacturers. But Ceramic For Life is hardly a spoon-killer, it is ‘an alternative for a special occasion.’ That special occasion being daily lethargy!
