Chances are you won’t land on too many aliens or their dreaded ray guns in the Victorian era. Steampunk is the way to go if you want a little anachronism. Atomic Pistol delivers a copper and wooden fashioned ray gun, replete with all the detailing that one would like to see. While the light emitting barrel is made of copper, wood is the preferred material to fabricate the handle. Designed by “madrobot” (who confesses this is his first “ray gun prop”) the make-believe weapon looks solid as can be. Considering that the prop would be heavy as it is, the designer made provision for external battery that connects using a 5” power cord. A leather pouch to store the batteries adds to the steampunk theme. Finally done, the Atomic Pistol shines brilliantly, projects a beam of light to look realistic and even vibrates when triggered. You’d see the ingenuity that has gone into the making of this wonderful device after jump.
