No, they did not drop a splinter from an old guitar and grow this experimental monstrosity in the earth. It sure as hell looks like a science experiment gone bad though! But this freaky multiple-limbed guitar is actually the brainchild of Linda Manzer, a guitar designer who specializes in creating out-of-the-ordinary instruments. The Pikasso really stands out from the crowd with its four necks, two sound holes and 42 strings that simple beg you to experiment with all the chords you remember from the boring lessons the crazy old man from next door used to torture you with when you were a kid! Surprisingly light at a mere 15lbs, the Pikasso features a nice tapered back that allows a seated musicians to rest the thing on their knee and offers him full control of the beast with its ergonomic design. Though we know this unique guitar certainly belongs in a museum or art gallery, we’d certainly love to have one of our fav guitarists rock the stage with this monster in tow!
