Bear Colosseum: Marketing gimmick, but a classic art work

No doubt Barcelona out-classed Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League Final, but it’s not Barça majestic players alone who stole the show. To make the event bigger and different, Heineken constructed a replica of the historical Colosseum from beer bottles in the Termini train station.

The base on which the monument stands is inscribed with the date of the game in Roman numerals: XXVII. V. MMIX and the motto ‘History is made in Rome.’
